Steady, would be the word to describe the performances of the majority of the 5 Full Srixon Staff Players and 2 Z-UR Series ball users at the 2007 US Masters, where a score of +1 ensured victory for American Zach Johnson.
" The Augusta course proved to be more treacherous than ever before but 4 of Srixons 5 Staff players made the cut in this years Masters, ensuring that the brand got extensive coverage over the 4 days.
For the first time ever, the brand had gone into a Major Championship with TWO players in the World Top 10 rankings and FIVE in the Top 50.
Both Henrik Stenson and Tim Clark had held a share of the lead at differing stages of the championship.
Jim Furyk and Tim Clark finished in a tie for 13th, with Tim showing a welcome return to form after injury and trying to go one better than his runner up spot in 2006.
In form player Henrik Stenson, who was many people's bet for victory this year started well, but had a difficult back 9 in the second round on his way to a tie for 17th.
John Rollins, who has had such a good season in 2006 and has now entered the World Top 50 was in a tie for 20th and the two Z-URS ball only users Miguel Angel Jimenez and 1979 Champion Fuzzy Zoeller finished tied for 44th and 60th respectively.
Srixon Players have had Seven International Tour Victories to date in 2007."
